You might be wondering what in the world "BFFAish" means...and here goes: B-best, F-friends, F-forever, A-always, “ish”- well, we decided to call each other’s names ending with “ish” (e.g. Mikeeish, Alyzahish, Mayish, Ninaish) for fun :)
It started off when we were in grade 10 (School year 2010-2011) in our P.E. class. We wouldn’t be friends back then if it weren’t for Mikee, who just arrived from the Philippines. May and Nina only knew each other through friends. Alyzah, on the other hand, just arrived as well but earlier than Mikee. We’re all pure Filipinas, proudly born in the Philippines, but our families decided to reside in Canada for a better life.
Through thick and thin, we’ve stood the strongest. From lows to highs, we’ve come as one. No one’s prettier than the other and no one’s better than the rest. We have learned to accept each other’s flaws. We may have a few things that we hide from each other but we try not to suddenly blurt out everything at once...instead, we take it little by little and solve it like it’s just a piece of candy to be shared in the group...tee hee :)
Continuing on, we’re not saying that we’re one of the perfect BFF groups as we don’t even try to be. We may have problems at times that couldn’t be solved in just a blink of an eye, we may have struggled from boy issues (you know...who gets the boy and whatnot), and we may have forgotten about the presence of the other for a second...but by the end of the day, the love we have for each other still lingers and no one could even wreck that...
